Well- you won't get in! Sorry- and, there are NO refunds. Make sure you have a VALID ID- and if it's a Minnesota issued Driver License - it can not possess a "B" designation on the back of the license. There are no exceptions.
Yes- Minnesota law requires us to card everyone. And hey - take it has a compliment if you're 78!
For VIP, doors open at 4PM so you should be ready to get in line by 3:30PM - for the General Admission, doors are at 5PM and if it were me, I'd be ready to go by 4:15PM!
Yes - the Casino does have a coat check. The bummer - it's literally on the opposite site of the building. But, it's indoors and a nice walk is good for everyone.
The Brewfest itself does not sell t-shirts, but there will be a vendor or two that will be selling beer related shirts and swag- and some of the breweries may have some shirts as well!
Well- that depends on you. This is a sampling event and with over 150 beers - that could be a lot! Minnesota law requires them to be no more than 2oz. samples. We do reserve the right to stop serving anyone at anytime. We will not over serve - so, pace yourself. We want everyone to be happy and safe. Please, sample responsibly!
The brewfest will end promptly at 8PM... Absolutely no beer will be poured after that cutoff from any vendors.
Boy, is there! The Grand Minnesota Taste Together celebrates with a LIVE CONCERT to top off the evening featuring Parmalee! To learn more about this incredible band, visit http://grandcasinobrewfest.com/index.php/concert
Yes - you sure can. Always better safe than sorry!
There are several options at the casino for food - and all relatively close to the Event Center. Please enjoy!
The brewfest is produced by Twin Ports Entertainment, Inc. They started the Taste-Together Brewfest in 2010.
The profits benefit the 14 Foundation - a 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides monies to youth sports as well as supporting arts at the elementary school level. It was created in memory of Steve Arnovich, who died in a tragic accident in 2006. His older brother Jeff is one of the founders of the brewfest. The number 14 was Steve's number in all of the sports he participated in at Superior High School in Superior, WI.
